On October 11,1986 there was a meeting held in Tennessee between the Ontario Trappers Association, National Trappers Association, and the Fur Takers of America. The purpose of the joint meeting was to establish an Alliance Committee to coordinate efforts in the fight against the anti trapping movement. One of our past presidents (1979-81) Bob Carlson, was the NHTA - NTA Director at the time and attended this important meeting. Bob is shown in the vest sweater and glasses, kneeling in the front row, furthest to the right.
